It is with great sadness that I am announcing the closing of Urbaniacs.com after operating for 20.5 years.
Urbaniacs.com was launched during the early Flash-driven era of web games. It was a unique IP that combined Urban Hip-Hop culture and Superheroes. It started in May 2005.
Urbaniacs.com ran on a PHP 5.6/MySQL/Flash stack and became too difficult to run in a cost effective way. A server update by the Webhost broke Urbaniacs.com from being able to be loaded via browser. This took the website offline at the end of October 2025.
I have saved all the files and databases and these will be made available to any interested persons who wishes to purchase it. If you are so interested, contact me.
